Since getting into the business in 1989, I've created gorgeous pieces to run in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, the New Yorker, Conde-Nast Traveler, and the Economist.

I learned the trade from "old-school" traditional designers, as I trained them on the technology. Visual alignment, the ragging of type, hand kerned headlines -- pre-computer concepts -- I embraced.
